Domain prices going down – .TV becoming cheaper
As you know, we are already an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar and we are taking steps towards allowing you, our hosting resellers, to sell cheaper domain names. The first step was taken a few weeks ago when we lowered the prices for the .CC and .WS TLDs.
This week, the price for the .TV domain name will also go down. The new price will be 40% lower and the change will take effect on Thursday.
The .TV domain would be the logical domain name of choice for any website dealing with television, be that a standard television or an online television broadcasting channel. A .TV TLD will also help SEO-wise: .TV domains will rank higher in search engines for “television” related keywords.
