Domain prices going down – .EU to become cheaper
Over the last few weeks we have been updating domain prices – we’ve lowered the prices for .IN domain names and for .TV domain names.
This week we are working on lowering the price for a new, very popular TLD – .EU. Our goal is to match .EU domain prices with the prices for the .COM, .NET, .ORG, .etc domain names. In other words, the new wholesale price will be $9 USD instead of $12.50. This means a %30 price decrease.
The new prices will take effect on Monday, February 14.
The new .EU domain name pricing represents a great way for web hosting and domain name resellers to make a breakthrough on the European market where .EU domain names are very popular. A quick way to advertise the new, lowered domain pricing is by placing a small banner informing about the promotion in the header area.
What’s more, since .EU now has the same price as the other domain names, which are available for free with our shared web hosting plans, we are working on including .EU for free with our plans too.
