Payment processor change for credit/debit cards

Last week, we were surprisingly notified by Worldpay, our credit/debit card payment processor for all monthly payments, that they will be shutting down all operations by the end of this month.

We already have an alternative – Stripe. They will be handling all monthly credit/debit card payments in the future.

Anyone paying by PayPal, wallet, or bank wire WILL NOT be affected.

What does this mean for you and your customers?

The closing of Worldpay means that they will no longer process recurring contracts.

In order to prevent any loss of service, we will have to cancel all recurring contracts by the end of next week.

So, the next time you or your customers have to renew their services, it will have to be done manually, from the Control Panel.

This will automatically create a new recurring contract, with the payment going through Stripe instead of WorldPay.

We will send service expiration notifications to notify everyone about the upcoming expiration date.

We will also notify affected customers via a support ticket and an email, sent to the mailbox associated with their account.

If you have any questions on this matter, don’t hesitate to ask.
