.CO.UK domains now available for free with a hosting plan

As of today, .UK domain names can be registered for free upon signing up for a new web hosting account. The .CO.UK, .ORG.UK and .ME.UK TLDs are the next addition to domain extension, which we offer for free with a hosting plan. The other TLDs available for free are .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .US, .RU, .DE and .EU.

There are other changes regarding .UK domain names – they can now be registered for just one year. Until now, the minimum registration period has been 2 years. The annual price for .UK domains will be the same as the annual price for the other free TLDs on offer. The price for a 2-year domain registration will remain the same. Also, the domain transfer for .UK domain names will no longer require Auth-Codes.
