What is the WHMCS Module about?
A WHMCS module provides additional functionality to the WHMCS platform and primarily serves to connect with third-party services and APIs.
The ResellersPanel’s free WHMCS module specifically enables WHMCS customers to connect their hosting businesses with the Free Reseller Program platform.
To streamline operations and enable automation, the primary module is supplemented by a quick configuration module:
- Provisioning Module – the main module that creates connectivity between WHMCS and ResellersPanel’s API for managing products and customer accounts;
- Quick Configuration Module – an additional module that facilitates automatic synchronization of hosting services from the Free Reseller Program to WHMCS.
NOTE: We suggest using both modules together to ensure smooth and efficient integration between WHMCS and ResellersPanel API.
Who can benefit from the ResellersPanel WHMCS Module?
Here are some examples of how the WHMCS Module can support your business:
- If you are a reseller seeking to integrate the flexible pay-as-you-go capability of the Free Reseller Program with a billing solution of your choice;
- If you are an existing WHMCS reseller looking to expand your current hosting portfolio with services that are simple to set up and require no upfront payments;
- New hosting resellers who want to have more control over their customers but don’t want to commit to monthly payments, and prefer to pay only for what they use.
Requirements for using the WHMCS Module
To successfully implement the WHMCS Module, ensure you have:
- A free reseller account with ResellersPanel.com;
- An active WHMCS license (version 8.7 or higher).
Also, you will need the API connection details, which you can find in the API Options area of the Reseller Control Panel with ResellersPanel.
How does the WHMCS Module work?
Through ResellersPanel’s WHMCS module, partners can integrate our hosting solutions into their WHMCS-powered store while maintaining their existing billing platform.
Here is how provisioning our web hosting services via WHMCS works:
- When a customer places a service order through a reseller’s store, the reseller activates the chosen service (hosting package, semi-dedicated hosting, or service upgrade) via their admin panel.
- The corresponding wholesale cost is automatically withdrawn from the reseller’s wallet balance in their free account with our platform. Step 1 and 2 apply to service upgrade and service renewal orders as well.
- The reseller can then send the Welcome Email to the customer containing access credentials and essential guidance for navigating our Hepsia hosting interface.
NOTE: To ensure smooth service provisioning, resellers must maintain sufficient funds in their wallet within their free reseller account to cover the hosting services they offer through their WHMCS store.
The services you can offer via the WHMCS Module
For now, WHMCS partners can offer the following web hosting services to their clients:
- Web hosting plans – pre-configured cloud web hosting plans (Starter, Business, Corporate and Enterprise), which are suitable for both beginners and experts with sites small and big or custom web hosting plans tailored to your customers’ specific needs, which you can create with the help of our Plan Builder tool.
- Semi-dedicated plans – an in-between solution for clients who want to scale up beyond their shared hosting account at a reasonable cost; featuring generous CPU allocations and database query quotas, built-in SSH access, and a dedicated IP address;
- Upgrade services – all types of web hosting upgrades, including: extra storage/monthly traffic, additional mailboxes/mailbox storage, extra MySQL/PostgreSQL databases/database storage, additional CPU, SSH, etc.
Upcoming service additions to the WHMCS Module:
We are working to integrate the full range of web hosting offerings through the Free Reseller Program into the WHMCS Module. The following services will be incorporated soon:
- SSL Certificates
- OpenVZ VPS server plans
- KVM server plans

Customer Support Services
Through the WHMCS module, ResellersPanel will handle all technical support assistance for your customers.
Your clients can submit support tickets directly from their Hepsia Control Panel-enabled hosting accounts whenever they encounter technical issues or have questions about their hosting services.
NOTE: All billing and sales inquiries from your customers will be directed to the partner’s WHMCS hosting storefront.
Legal obligations for WHMCS Module users
All members of the Free Reseller Program via the WHMCS Module are bound by the following legal documents:
- Reseller Terms – the fundamental rules and guidelines governing the operations of every participant in the Free Reseller Program;
- Reseller API Terms – a dedicated agreement that oversees the activities of all partners who interact with the Free Reseller Program through third-party platforms;
- Data Processing Agreement – a GDPR-compliant document detailing ResellersPanel’s position as a Data Processor. Recommended for European Union partners planning to serve European customers.
Regarding the provision of our web hosting services to their own customers, WHMCS partners will be required to incorporate our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy within their store.
