cPanel has adjusted its licensing prices for a sixth consecutive year, a trend we’ve seen for a few years now.

Effective January 1st, 2005, the organization behind the cPanel Control Panel, a platform extensively deployed across various virtual private servers, dedicated servers, and our cPanel Reseller Program, has rolled out updated licensing fees.

Despite our ongoing efforts to minimize the impact of these cost increases on our customers, we have had to respond to the overall rise in operational costs.

Starting January 14th, 2025, we have updated our pricing structure for our cPanel Unlimited Reseller plans. In the coming days, we will also update the prices for individual cPanel licenses.

In accordance with the revised pricing structure for cPanel licensing, we must make necessary adjustments to our cPanel reseller hosting plans as well.

New cPanel license prices for Virtual Private Servers and dedicated servers

The revised pricing will have an impact on VPS аnd dedicated server clients who have opted for cPanel as their Control Panel choice.

In the upcoming days, we will reach out to these clients to inform them about the forthcoming change well in advance.

For customers whose licenses are affected, we will make every effort to update the pricing of their recurring contracts. 

This ensures that customers can continue to utilize all services without any disruptions.

If the price discrepancy does not permit us to modify the recurring contract, we will have to cancel it.

Customers who’ve had their recurring contracts canceled will need to manually renew their services when their next payment is due.
