.CO & .PRO TLDs now available for registration
We have added two fresh, brand new TLDs – .CO and .PRO, to our long list of available domain names.
The .CO TLD (the ccTLD for Columbia) was released for public registration worldwide just a few days ago and is being strongly advertised as the new .COM. This means that there are still a lot of attractive domain names available, and the time to act is now.
There are no special domain registration requirements for the .CO TLD. It can be registered for a period of 1 to 5 years, but it’s not eligible for WHOIS protection.
The wholesale price for the .CO TLD is set at 29.00 USD/year and the default retail price is set at 33.00 USD per year. You can modify the pricing from the Domain Pricing section of the Reseller Control Panel.
The .PRO TLD is targeted at professionals and businesses. In order to register such a domain name, you will have to prove that you are a registered and licensed business entity, providing professional services.
The registration period for .PRO domains is from 1 to 10 years, but it can’t be transferred to another registrar. It is, however, eligible for ID protection. Upon registration, the registrant will receive a special form, which he will have to fill out and return to the .PRO registration authority within a period of 44 days; otherwise the registration will be declined.
The .PRO TLD starts at a wholesale price of 24 USD per year and a default retail price of 28 USD per year. You can change the pricing from your Reseller Control Panel’s Domain Pricing section.
