Upcoming Domain Price Update – October 2026

In recent years, domain name prices have continued to change as leading registries worldwide make annual adjustments to their wholesale rates.
This October, new pricing from a major new TLD provider and several country-code registries will affect a selection of domain extensions available through our reseller platforms.
We’ve done our best to keep these changes to a minimum while maintaining competitive prices and the reliable service and support our resellers expect.
When will the new prices take effect?
The updated domain prices will come into effect on October 6, 2026 and will apply to members of both our Free Reseller Program and cPanel Reseller Platform.
The changes cover selected new TLDs and country-code domains, with updated rates applying to registrations and renewals, including domains previously registered as part of a special offer or promotion.
You can find the complete list of affected extensions and their updated standard, renewal and promotional prices here:

What will change for Free Reseller Program members?
Once the new pricing takes effect:
- Wholesale prices for the affected TLDs will be updated;
- Retail prices will be adjusted automatically to preserve the existing profit margin set for each TLD;
- Existing domains will move to the new pricing when they come up for renewal;
- Recurring contracts will be updated automatically for the next scheduled payment;
- Where a price increase is significant, an existing recurring contract may be canceled, allowing the customer to create a new contract at the revised price;
- Affected customers will be informed about the changes through the ticketing system.
No manual price adjustment will be required from resellers unless you wish to change your existing profit margins.
What about cPanel Reseller Platform members?
After the new rates are introduced into our system, invoices containing any of the affected TLDs will be updated within 7 days.
The revised pricing will apply to affected domains regardless of whether they are currently active, expired or awaiting renewal.
All cPanel resellers will also receive an email explaining the pricing changes and any action that may be required.
Take advantage of the current prices
If you or your customers have domains from the affected TLD list that are due for renewal, you can renew them before October 6, 2026 to take advantage of the current lower rates for another year.
The same applies to new registrations, so if you’re planning to register one of the affected domain extensions, doing so before the price update will secure the current rate.
If you have any questions about the upcoming changes, our customer support team is available 24/7 and ready to help.
