Upcoming Domain Price Update – October 2025
Over the past few years, domain name pricing has steadily shifted as registries across the world update their wholesale structures.
This autumn, we will once again see a series of price adjustments affecting a range of new TLDs and country-code domains.
These updates are largely driven by changing market conditions and rising costs from global registries, something that has become an industry-wide trend.
To continue offering reliable services and high-quality support, we have made minimal yet necessary price modifications. Our goal is to keep prices as competitive as possible, while maintaining the level of service you expect.
What is changing?
- The new TLD pricing will take effect on October 15th, 2025;
- The update applies to members of both the Free Reseller Program and the cPanel Reseller Platform;
- A full list of affected TLDs, including standard registrations, renewals, and promotional plans, is available here:
- These rates will apply to all domain registrations, including those that were previously purchased under special offers or promotions.

How will the Free Reseller Program be updated?
- Step 1: Wholesale prices will be updated;
- Step 2: Retail prices will adjust automatically, maintaining the pre-set profit margins for each TLD;
- Domains already registered under an affected TLD will switch to the new rates upon renewal;
- For customers with recurring contracts, the new pricing will be applied automatically at the next scheduled payment;
- In cases of significant price increases, existing recurring contracts may be canceled. Customers will then have the option to set up a new contract at the revised rate;
- All impacted customers will receive notifications through the ticketing system.
What does this mean for cPanel Reseller Program members?
Once pricing is updated in our system, all invoices that include the affected TLDs will be revised within 7 days.
This applies to domains whether they are active, expired, or pending renewal.
An email will be sent to all cPanel resellers to provide clarity on the adjustments and what actions, if any, are required.
How to prepare
To lock in the current lower rates for another year, we strongly recommend that you and your customers register or renew domains from the affected TLD list before October 15th, 2025.
