As of now, all our web hosting resellers under the Free Reseller Hosting Program can now sell .RU domain names from their reseller stores. The default wholesale price for .RU domains is $27.50 USD. The .RU domain extension is the ccTLD for Russia, which is one of the biggest web hosting markets at the moment.

In order for one to register a .RU domain name, he will have to provide:
- the applicant’s passport number and date of birth, if the domain name will be registered by an individual
- a Reason for Registration Code and a Taxpayer Identification Number, if the domain name will be registered by a company.

Other than that, there are no other special requirements. The registration period for .RU domain names is 1 year. They are transferable but are not eligible for ID protection.
