A domain price increase affects the cPanel hosting resellers

We’ve gotten into the habit of announcing that prices are going down, but, unfortunately, this time it will be the other way around. As a result of a recent price increase introduced by eNom, the domain registrar we are working with, and by VeriSign, we will also have to revise the prices for the .COM, .NET and .ORG TLDs. The new price will be 9.50 USD per year (previously 9.00 USD). This price increase affects ONLY the resellers under our cPanel Hosting Reseller program. We’ve tried to keep the prices the same for almost one full month but can no longer maintain them at the current levels. The good news is that this price increase is only temporary. For several months now, we have been an ICANN accredited domain registrar and are now working towards enabling our cPanel resellers to register domain names through our registrar company, which would allow us to offer these domains at their old prices. As soon as this happens, we will let you know.
