Binary storage added as a service upgrade
Now that web hosting providers can afford to offer generous amounts of disk space, the chance that customers use the hosting service for off-site storage purposes will only increase.
To prevent using your hosting services for storage purposes exclusively, we have very clearly set out the conditions for storing content in the terms of service for your store.
However, we have learned through experience that there are customers who do need more storage for off-site needs without intending to compromise our terms of service.
This is why we’ve created the binary storage service, which allows users to easily get extra space dedicated to their storage needs exclusively. The amount of extra space ranges from 100 GB to 1000 GB.
The binary storage upgrade is applicable to all web hosting packages and semi-dedicated servers.
Users can find the storage service in the Upgrade Services section of the web hosting Control Panel. It will appear as an upgrade option to users who have more than 100 GB of used disk space:
The wholesale price of the storage space upgrade is 9 USD/mo, and you can put your custom retail price on top of it.
